A better way to do business

At Disconnected Energy we create innovative products which help our customers to be more independent and self sufficient, but our approach to pushing boundaries doesn't stop there.
Corporate greed, employee exploitation, and deception of customers are things we see all to often these days. When we started the business we vowed that we would find a better way, a more sustainable business model.
We believe businesses should be part of the solution, helping to build our communities and improve our world, not like parasites only taking for themselves and never giving back.
It’s not easy in this current global climate, but we strive to uphold our core values in everything we do:
-
Honesty and integrity: We embrace a no B.S. approach to marketing. Yes, we’ll use pretty words to describe our products but we won’t lie about what they are or can realistically do. Not for us the unrealistic and outrageous performance claims of some of our competitors; we test all our products to ensure that they can do what we claim.
-
Innovation: Research and Development is at the core of our business. We are always looking for new ideas, improving on existing or, coming up with entirely new products - our team loves getting to grips with a new challenge and finding solutions to help make life a little better. We reinvest our profits into R&D helping to grow the business further and support British innovation too.
-
People before profit: We treat our staff as we like to be treated, we believe staff should be paid a decent wage and treated fairly and with respect. We support a healthy and productive work-life balance and encourage staff to volunteer in their communities.
-
Quality British products at a fair price: We don’t cut corners to make a quick buck. Our products are designed with the user in mind, to be easy to install and use. They are designed and made in Britain using locally sourced, sustainable products, where possible. This ensures quality for the consumer whilst minimising Carbon footprint and supporting the local economy.
